On Tuesday at 2 PM, a truck carrying Burmese cigarettes was caught in a police checkpoint. According to police sources, during a routine inspection at the old Lahorijan police outpost on the Assam-Nagaland border, authorities recovered 50 cartons of Korean cigarettes from the vehicle, which had the registration number UP-21-BN-1625.

According to the information available, the Korean cigarettes were allegedly hidden in a secret compartment on top of the container for distribution. Meanwhile, the police have seized the Korean cigarettes and detained Sunil Kumar, the son of Ram Dayal Sharma, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, for further questioning to gather more information.
