Hailakandi: During the time of routine checking on Monday evening, police has seized 130 bottle of indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) in Hailakandi. Police officers on naka duty under Katlicherra PS intercepted a truck heading towards Bhairobi in neighbouring Mizoram while trying to clandestinely move without any document.
SP of the district Pabindra Kumar Nath said that during inspection of the truck police found the 130 IMFL bottle in packed in several cartons and seized it. In relation with the incident police apprehended two person in the truck and booked them. The SP again stated that necessary legal action is being taken in this connection.
