Three drug traffickers, including a woman, were arrested and heroin worth over Rs three crore in the international market seized in Assam’s Morigaon district on Thursday, police said.
Acting on specific inputs, a police team led by Additional Superintendent of Police Suprotive Lal Barua, launched an operation and seized a vehicle carrying the drugs in 28 soap boxes from the Dantialbori area under Laharighat police station. 
The police recovered 390 gms of heroin, valued at over Rs three crore, from the soap boxes and arrested the trio, Barua said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Jehirul Islam, Anirul Islam and Selima Khatoon, he added.
