The Assam Government has issued deportation orders against three individuals declared as foreigners by the Foreigners Tribunal in Karbi Anglong. The directive comes under the authority granted by Section 2 of the Immigrants (Expulsion from Assam) Act, 1950, marking a decisive administrative action in the state’s ongoing efforts to address undocumented immigration.

The individuals served with the deportation notice are Md. Fakruddin, a resident of Yadav Rai Grant under Bokajan Police Station, Md. Rafiqul Ali of Hidim Teron village under Manja Police Station and Md. Faizul Haque from the Manja riverbank area, also under Manja Police Station. All three were declared foreigners after separate and thorough proceedings before the Foreigners Tribunal in Karbi Anglong.
According to official records, the tribunal delivered its opinions on December 23, 2025, December 6, 2025, and December 24, 2025, respectively. Following these rulings, authorities noted that the continued presence of the individuals in Assam poses a risk to public interest and internal security. As a result, the government has directed them to leave Assam and the territory of India within 24 hours of receiving the order.
The deportation route has also been specified the individuals must exit the country through designated points in Dhubri, Sreerampur, or South Salmara–Mankachar. These routes are commonly used for outbound movement in compliance with expulsion directives.
The government has stated clearly that failure to comply within the stipulated time frame will lead to further action under the provisions of the Immigrants (Expulsion from Assam) Act, 1950. Authorities emphasized that the order has been issued in accordance with established legal procedures and reflects the state’s commitment to upholding security and maintaining demographic balance.
