A serious incident has occurred at Goalpara College. A female student has reportedly been harassed in the NSUI office by a male student named Iqbal Hussain, who is the sports secretary of the college. The allegation has been made against him regarding this misconduct involving the twelfth-grade student.
This horrifying incident occurred during a welcome gathering for newcomers. Iqbal, using a circular approach, created an abusive situation with a female student by forcing his way in through a door. Furthermore, when others spoke about the incident, Iqbal Hussein threatened the female student with the possibility of coordinated harassment.
After the incident, the affected student filed a complaint at the Golapara Sadar police station. Based on the victim’s complaint, the police arrested the accused, Iqbal Husain, from the college. The victim also informed her friend and guardian about this heinous incident.
