According to reports, a team from the anti-corruption branch conducted a raid today at the office of the district commissioner in Bajali. During the operation, the assistant commissioner of the district, Gourav Shekhar Das, was caught in the act of taking a bribe of 50,000 rupees.
Allegedly, he had taken this money from a local businessman. It is noteworthy that the anti-corruption branch has also made a statement regarding this matter through X (formerly Twitter).
