The police were able to seize a large quantity of heroin and yaba tablets in Cachar. Last night, around 1 AM, a special operation was conducted near Silchar city, led by IG Partha Sarathi Mohanta (STF) and the Cachar police in Shildubi. During this operation, they arrested Shahil Ahmed Laskar from Kabuganj, Part 3 of Nagdirgram, under the jurisdiction of the Silchar police station, and successfully confiscated 10 soap cases, 6.848 kilograms of heroin, and 60,000 yaba tablets.
Currently, a supplier was arrested for transporting prohibited items on a motorcycle in Palashbari. According to the police, the value of the seized illegal goods in the black market is approximately 20 crore. Legal procedures are being initiated in connection with this incident.
