A 50-year-old man named Minaruddin Haque has been apprehended by Dhubri police on allegations of molesting an 8-year-old girl in the Hazarigaon area. The incident has deeply shocked the local community.
According to the mother of the victim, Haque, who resides on AMCo Road, Ward No. 14, had been making inappropriate advances toward her daughter. The young girl, who later complained of chest pain, confided in her mother about her distressing experience.
Upon learning of the molestation, the mother confronted Haque and then sought assistance from family members and neighbors.
Community members detained Haque before handing him over to the police. Dhubri police have since launched a comprehensive investigation, which includes conducting medical examinations of the victim. Authorities are in the process of gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to clarify the details of the alleged crime.
