
The protest in Manipur descended into chaos as students hurled posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Tensions escalated rapidly, resulting in violent clashes between police and protesters.

Students resorted to throwing stones and setting several vehicles ablaze. Law enforcement responded with tear gas in an attempt to disperse the agitated crowd, which led to even more violent confrontations.
Approximately 40 people, including both students and police officers, were injured amid the turmoil. The unrest also witnessed the participation of hundreds of women, adding to the complexity of the situation. This significant upheaval has disrupted peace in the region, raising serious concerns about public safety and order.
