Each piece of information obtained by the CBI so far is nothing short of spine-chilling. A young female doctor was brutally murdered in the seminar hospital of RG Kar Medical College by Stone Sanjay.
Meanwhile, the CBI officials are also monitoring various gadget data at the Lalbazar Cyber Cell. The primary focus of the CBI’s investigation into the RG Kar case is the data from these gadgets. The CBI is continuing its investigation to reconcile the statements of former professor Sandeep Ghosh with those of the family.
The CBI will examine CCTV footage and collect information from the cyber cell. The movements of the accused, Sanjay Roy, are now under the CBI’s surveillance. According to available information, Sanjay visited the R.G. Kar Hospital twice at night and twice during the day. In total, he went to the R.G. Kar Medical College four times, both during the day and night.
Sanjay entered the hospital twice, once at 1 PM in the afternoon and again at 5 PM in the evening. Later, at 11 PM, Sanjay went to the hospital’s chest department. After that, he left the hospital and consumed alcohol. At that time, Sanjay was in the Sovabazar and Chetla areas. In the middle of the night, Sanjay entered the hospital again. By reviewing the CCTV footage of Kolkata’s streets, the CBI is trying to identify who Sanjay met during his movements.
It is to be noted that the doctor, who fell victim to violence and succumbed at Kolkata’s R.G. Medical College Hospital, had multiple injury marks on their body. Evidence of misconduct was also found on the body. This information has been revealed in the post-mortem report. According to information published in the media, the post-mortem report indicates that the doctor was strangled to death. Additionally, the report mentions that a foreign object was forcibly inserted into the doctor’s private parts.
