A tragic road accident occurred in Thaijuwari of Dima Hasao district on Saturday, causing widespread agitation in the area. Right in front of their own school, two students met with a premature and sorrowful death when they were struck by a four-wheeled vehicle. The heartbreaking incident took place while the two girls were on their way to Hamari Saraswati Vidya Mandir School to appear for an examination.
It is noteworthy that in the area of Thaijuwari, under the jurisdiction of Deombrong Police Station, an 11-year-old second-grade student named Debilisha Thausen, who was on her way to take an exam at Hamri Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, and an 8-year-old student named Naichringdi Laubangdichak, who was studying in nursery, were both seriously injured when a private four-wheeled vehicle driven by Nelson Longmailai struck them in front of Naichringdi Laubangdichak’s school.
Recently, two female students were urgently taken to Haflong Civil Hospital in Assam; however, upon arrival, both were declared deceased by the medical professionals. Following this tragic incident, the examinations at Hamari Saraswati Vidya Mandir School were temporarily suspended. As a consequence of this unfortunate event, a somber atmosphere has descended upon the Thaizuwari region of Diyungbra.
