Rangia : Bandh called by NESU is total and peaceful. No untoward incident reported. All the shops and educational institutions closed. Examinations cancelled. No vehicular traffic. But Rail services normal. The Bandh supporters blok the Divisional Railway Manager office Road by Burning tyre.
Kokrajhar : Bandh total in Kokrajhar, AASU activists and bandh suporters burning tyres on main roads in Kokrajhar. Security measures titned in Kokrajhar to tackle any untoward incident.
Barpeta : Bandh total in Barpeta district too.No unavoidable situation occured till now. All the shops are closed but the educational institutions where class IX,X examinations will be held as scheduled.No vehicles are running till now.
Morigaon : Assam Bandh evoked total response in Morigaon district. All shops and business establishments remained closed while vehicles stayed off the roads. Security tightened at Jagiroad as Bandh supporters assembled there to block NH 37.
Golaghat : In Golaghat too the bandh call has evoked total response with vehicular traffic remaining off the road and business establishments closed. Burning of tyres on main roads by bandh supporters is witnessed.
Tinsukia : The 12 hours bandh called by NESO evoked total response in Tinsukia District.
Most of educational institutions, shops, offices and banks are closed. Roads wears a deserted look as commuters are to wait for hours for public transport.
Diphu : Bandh called by NESU is total and peaceful in Karbi Anglong District. AASU activists and bandh suporters burning tyres on main roads in Diphu town . No vehicle movement in National Highway . shops, offices and banks are closed.
Jorhat : Assam bandh total in ,picketers are burning tyres in different places, shops, educational institutes, banks eta.are closed, streets are deserted, exam called off , normal life is affected due to bandh in jorhat
