Diphu : An Army unit of Renowned Red Horns Division organised ‘Swachhta Pakhwada : PLOGGING’ on 07 Dec 2019 in COB Manja, Bakuliya, FCI & Bn HQ.
The Plogging was carried out across all important market places and roads in the AOR of COBs and the Tactical HQ of the Unit.The event witnessed the participation of Army along with locals and the youth. The event was aimed at creating awareness about harmful effects of plastic and urgency of weeding out all types of plastics from the environment.
The participants gave the Slogan of “ Plastic Se Raksha, Swachhta hi Suraksha”. This event has positively impacted on the populace in their resolve to say ‘ NO TO SINGLE USE PLASTIC’ and achieve the wider aim of ‘Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat’.
