Army and Karbi Anglong Police launched a night long operation on 09/10 June in forested areas of Therabasa under Police Station Dakmoka , based on intelligence input and apprehended a hardcore cadre of PDCK, Dharam Hanse resident of Kuldong.
On sustained interrogation, the cadre led the team to another location from where one pistol,10 live rounds of ammunition and other warlike stores including 02 radio sets were recovered.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the third consecutive operation by Army, Police and other security agencies in the region in last two weeks which resulted in apprehension of armed extremists with huge cache of arms and ammunition besides apprehension of PDCK cadres.
