Guwahati police have apprehended two youths and a Bangladeshi woman at a Hatigaon hotel in connection with alleged involvement in the production of explicit content. The individuals, Sofikul Haque and Jahangir Alam, were arrested by Dispur Police, while the woman was found to have illegally entered Assam without a valid visa. She is currently detained at Dispur Police Station, and the youths are being interrogated by senior officials at Hatigaon Police Station.

The arrests took place at Hotel Aditya, positioned near Last Gate in Dispur, following allegations of the trio booking rooms under false pretenses. On February 1, rooms 101, 102, and 105 were reportedly reserved by two other unspecified individuals, with Min Akhtar and one of the accused posing as a couple during the booking process.
Authorities are investigating the depth of the alleged illegal activities and exploring possible connections to a larger network. The case highlights ongoing concerns about illegal immigration and the proliferation of explicit content production in the region. The investigation is continuing, with police striving to uncover all aspects of the case and any broader implications it may have.
The community remains on high alert as law enforcement urges citizens to report suspicious activities promptly. Further updates are expected as the investigation unfolds, potentially shedding more light on the suspected network and illegal activities.
