Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today declared that terrorism has been eradicated and assured it will not return. Speaking at an election rally in Chenani, Udhampur district, Shah asserted that the BJP, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, had realized the vision of Syama Prasad Mukherjee by revoking Article 370. He promised a terror-free region if the BJP remains in power.

In a packed schedule, Shah will address five additional rallies in Udhampur, Kathua, and Jammu districts. As the final phase of elections in Jammu and Kashmir approaches, the stakes are high for all parties involved, with 24 assembly segments in Jammu and 16 in the Kashmir division set to vote.
The election outcome in this critical phase will play a significant role in shaping the region’s political landscape.
