
In a tragic incident on the Bhangagarh flyover, a youth was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding Renault Duster on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Montu Bodo, was riding a Pulsar motorcycle with registration AS 01 DX 5826 when the four-wheeler struck him. The car responsible fled the scene immediately after the collision.

Witnesses reported that Bodo was left lying on the road for a while before passersby intervened. He was subsequently rushed to the Emergency Ward of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where he remains in critical condition. The Bhangagarh police have initiated a search operation to locate the Renault Duster and its owner responsible for the accident.
In a broader context, GMCH has faced an influx of emergency cases today, having reported four incidents since the morning. Authorities are expected to provide further updates on the condition of the victims shortly.
