The BJP candidate for the 6- Diphu(ST) Lok Sabha constituency, Amar Singh Tisso, claimed to have secured a victory in the constituency by garnering more than four lakh votes. At a press conference held today at the BJP’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan office in Diphu, the BJP candidate made this claim. He mentioned that in this election, there were 892789 eligible voters in the constituency, out of which had cast their votes.

The BJP claims to secure four lakh eighty thousand votes within this area. They assert that they will obtain 80 percent of the total votes cast, while the competition for the remaining 20 percent of the votes will be between the Congress and independent candidate Jonch Ingti Kathar. The candidate also expressed gratitude to the deity Ishist for the peaceful completion of the voting process and thanked the residents of the three hill districts for participating in the voting process.
Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, National President J.P. Nadda, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, State BJP President Bhabesh Kalita, and Chief Executive Member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Dr.Tuliram Ronghang were thanked for granting him the candidacy. He also expressed his gratitude to the administrators of the three hill districts and the secretaries and presidents of the BJP. The candidate from BJP stated that if elected, the primary goal would be the development of the three hill districts, with special emphasis on improving the education sector.
