According to information provided by the police, on the night of Sunday around 10 PM, during a checkpoint inspection in Old Lahorijan under Dillai police station in Karbi Anglong District, authorities were successful in apprehending two suppliers with a significant quantity of suspected heroin.
During the search of an EcoSport vehicle with registration number AS01BF-0246, the police were able to seize .203 grams of heroin concealed inside 15 soap boxes. The individuals involved in the heroin supply, identified as Abdul Kadir and Nawaz Sharif from the Thoubal district of Manipur, were successfully arrested by the police.
