Guwahati: The Guwahati chapter of International human rights council today organized and hosted-state seminar at here. The same was attended by 80 delegates from all over the country. The seminar was presided by Sanjay Kr Sureka; president of IHRC, Guwahati chapter. According to him, it was attended by many eminent personalities including Govind Bisen; national joint secretary, Anand Acharya; state president of Thane, Chistopher Hembrom; president of NE region, Kamal Gupta; president of Assam (URD), KR Das; president of Assam (PD), Kamal Raj Chettri; national general secretary, Geetashree Konwar; national secretary, Anup Rai; president of Kalimpong, Gautam Sudanshu; Bihar state president, Akbi-n-zimomi; president of Nagaland, Akheli Sumi; women state president of Nagaland. All dignitaries’ present called upon the members and emphasized to work more efficiently with coordination of govt. officials to curb anti-human activities leading to crime control.
During the seminar four eminent personalities of Guwahati were honored namely Prakashji Goenka; renowned social worker, Pitramji kedia; social activist, Ravi Mishra; cultural activist and Chandra Prakash Sharma; editor–in–chief of Pratah Khabar. The seminar was smoothly conducted by members of IHRC, Guwahati chapter namely Amit Santholia, Ajay mour, Gaurav Siotia, Mukund Jalan, Rakesh Choudhary, Manish Agarwal, Uddav Agarwal and Vikash Garodia.
