Diphu: An Army unit under the aegis of Red Horns Division organised a GAON BURAH MEET (JUG A JUG) as part of Civic action at Manja on 18 Oct 2019 to reach out to the representatives of local villages to generate goodwill regarding Army and also ascertain the reasons for sudden spurt in extortion related cases in the area.
The event witnessed a sound interaction with Gaon Burahs with reference to issues related to security, insugency activities and various Sadhbavna Projects undertaken by Army for welfare of public. A total of 17 Gaon Burahs and 3 sarkari gaon burah attended the meet .
The event received an overwhelming response in which the tireless efforts of Army towards ensuring violence free environment and generating goodwill by undertaking various development activities were appreciated by the attendees. They also pledged to provide unconditional support and coop to Army as and when required.
