Diphu: In continuation with the endeavor to provide humanitarian assistance to all sections of society, a unit under the aegis of Red Horns Division of Indian army organized a lecture and quiz at Shantiniketan English High School,
Harihajan in East Karbi Anglong on the occasion of International day of the girl child.
The lecture and quiz was conducted to spread awareness among the young minds regarding women empowerment and gender equality.
The event witnessed the presence of 150+ individuals comprising students, teachers and school staff.
The teachers and school staff appreciated the efforts of the army and acknowledged that conduct of such events for young students immensely helps in all round development of students.
