A disturbing incident unfolded at Rongkiri Don Bosco School in Langtuk Apam, West Karbi Anglong, when a Bee swarm of bees launched an unexpected attack, injuring 15 individuals, including 12 students and three teachers. The alarming event occurred around 2 PM on Thursday, sending shockwaves through the school community.

According to eyewitness reports, the bee swarm descended on the school campus, targeting hostellers and staff members without warning. The sudden onslaught left students and teachers scrambling for safety, resulting in multiple injuries. The chaotic scene heightened the urgency for medical intervention as the school staff quickly mobilized to assist the injured.
Local Member of the Autonomous Council (MAC) Avijit Kro responded promptly to the crisis, providing financial assistance to the victims and ensuring that they received immediate medical attention. He reported that arrangements were made for treatment at the Baithalangso Medical Sub-Center, a nearby facility capable of addressing the victims’ needs.
All injured individuals were swiftly transported to the medical sub-center, where they received necessary medical aid. Fortunately, the timely intervention of local authorities helped mitigate the situation, allowing for a swift response to the medical needs of those affected.
