Diphu: In continuation to projects aimed at helping less privileged populace of far flung regions in East Karbi Anglong district, the Red Horns Division of Indian Army, handed over one Blind School with attached toilet to Mr Shilong Bongrung, Gaon Burah, Gautambasti, Khatkhati, Bokajan K/A under Operation Sadbhavana project 2020-21.
This endeavor is a humane gesture to facilitates better schooling and sanitary facilities for blind children besides promoting harmonious relations between the local populace and Indian Army.
The event was witnessed by the Gaon Burah, Principal of blind school & Mrs Junali Nath, BDO. The villagers highly appreciated this humane act of the Armed forces.
