The Meteorological Center has mentioned the possibility of rain and severe storms in several districts of the state. Over the next three days, there is a chance of continuous heavy rainfall, storms, and dust storms occurring simultaneously. According to the Meteorological Center, there is also a potential for thunderstorms in several districts from February 20th to February 22nd. On February 20th, thunderstorms may occur in various districts of Upper Assam, including Majuli, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Tinsukia, Dhemaji, and Dibrugarh, where there is a likelihood of such weather conditions.
From February 22nd, continuous rainfall is expected to occur in the districts of Cachar, Dima Hasao, Dibrugarh, Sivasagar, Tinsukia, and Karimganj. Additionally, the center has indicated the possibility of thunderstorms in the aforementioned districts.
