
Today was a momentous day for the residents of Hamren as the groundbreaking ceremony for the District Resource Centre Building took place in Socheng Constituency. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Shri Ranjeet Kumar Das, the Minister of Government of Assam, whose dedication to the development of Karbi Anglong was widely recognized and appreciated.

The ceremony brought together various influential figures, symbolizing a unified effort towards community development. Among the prominent attendees were Dr. Tuliram Ronghang, Chief Executive Member of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Shri Amarsing Tisso, Member of Parliament, and respected MLAs Rupsing Teron and Darsing Ronghang. Also present were Executive Members, Members of Autonomous Councils, including local MAC Mr. Headsing Rongphar, the Superintendent of Police, the District Commissioner of West Karbi Anglong, Secretaries, and other dignitaries.
