\n\u00a0 \u00a0Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday directed officials to make elaborate arrangements for celebrating the country’s upcoming 75th independence Day in a grand manner.<\/span><\/h2>\n

\"CM's\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>The Chief Minister held a meeting with senior officers of the civil and security administration from police, army and air force and asked them to prepare blueprints for a three day celebration\u00a0from August 14 to 16. August.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"CM's \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>The\u00a0 celebrations should be thought of and executed in a way to evoke nationalism and patriotism and enable people to appreciate the ethos associated with Independence Day, he said.<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 All out preparations should be made to enable people from all sections of the society to celebrate the occasion and help the young generation to connect with the rich heritage of the country and the unparalleledsacrifice made by freedom fighters.<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0He also said that the security forces on the occasion should also put up their show to involve people so that they can also express their love for the country.\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 Government buildings would be illuminated aesthetically and patriotic songs will be played across the state in the run up to the Day.\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Sarma also asked Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah to hold a meeting with all the Deputy Commissioners to plan the celebrations in their respective districts.\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
