According to Dhruba Bora, ASP of the district, the cylinder was burst around 1.30 am when they were sleeping and the fire engulfed their house. They were died on the spot. The fire completely damaged the hut. The dead were identified as Maya Sonar (50), Bishal Sonar (19), Shib Sonar (5), Shankar Sonar (3) and Nunu (50), the ASP said. Senior police and district administration officials have arrived at the spot and conducting investigations into the incident. Then after, their dead bodies have been sent for post mortem examination.
