At least four persons were killed and another seriously injured in a road accident on national highway near Mirza of Kamrup (M) district in the wee hours of Saturday. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The accident was occurred due to a sand carrying truck had a head on collision with a huge 16-wheel truck. According to OC of Palasbari PS Satyendra Singh Hajowari, the sand carrying truck was going to Guwahati from Mirza and the other truck originating from West Bengal was travelling from Goalpara to Guwahati. The four persons were killed on the spot and the seriously injured has been shifted to GMCH for post-mortem and higher treatment consequently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The deceased were identified as Rafiqul Islam (22), Jahangir Alameda (21), Hanif Ali (25). They are all hailing from Boko in the district in the sand laden truck, while the person in large truck who was killed and the injured, both from West Bengal, are yet to be identified.
