{"id":7267,"date":"2019-10-15T22:55:01","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T17:25:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-440531-1379741.cloudwaysapps.com\/?p=7267"},"modified":"2019-10-15T22:56:27","modified_gmt":"2019-10-15T17:26:27","slug":"railway-minister-piyush-goyal-tuesday-flagged-off-a-new-passenger-train","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/assamtimespost.in\/?p=7267","title":{"rendered":"Railway Minister Piyush Goyal Tuesday flagged off a new passenger train"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-3755\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress-440531-1379741.cloudwaysapps.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/logo_atp-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"22\" height=\"33\" title=\"\">ASSAM TIMES POST<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Guwahati:<\/strong> Railway Minister Piyush Goyal Tuesday flagged off a new passenger train between Assam&#8217;s remote Murkongselek in Dhemaji district and Dibrugarh via remote from New Delhi.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A programme was also held at Murkongselek during flagging off of the train, according to a release by the North East Frontier (NF) Railway.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The new train has been named as &#8220;Sewa Service&#8221; with an aim to provide comfortable journey for people belonging to smaller towns so that they can easily reach nearby cities for their daily work.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The introduction of this new train fulfils a long standing need of the people of this region and will also help reduce the road traffic congestion, the release added.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The new passenger train Number 55606 will leave Murkongselek at 08-45 am daily to reach Dibrugarh at 12-15 pm. During return journey train Number 55605 will start from Dibrugarh at 01-15 pm to reach Murkongselek at 04-45 pm.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The train will have sleeper class and general second class facilities. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During its journey the train will have stoppages at Dhamalgaon, Tangani, New Sisibargaon, Sripani, Sisibargaon, Silapathar, Archipathar, Dipa, Simenchapari, Telem, Laimekuri and Jone Karrang stations both ways.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Regular service of the train will start from tomorrow.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The train will provide last mile connectivity to the people of this region by reducing the distance for development, the release added.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ASSAM TIMES POST Guwahati: Railway Minister Piyush Goyal Tuesday flagged off a new passenger train between Assam&#8217;s remote Murkongselek in Dhemaji district and Dibrugarh via remote from New Delhi.
