Staff Reporter<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n A 80-year old wheel-chair bound disabled woman from Nagaland was allegedly asked to strip during the security check at the Lokopriyo Gopinath International Airport here on Thursday but the airport authorities claimed that she was asked to go through a mandatory security screening.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0The octogenarian Mhalo Kikon’s \u00a0daughter Dolly Kikon alleged that her mother, who had undergone a hip replacement surgery last year, was on her way to Delhi from here and was accompanied by her grandchild.<\/span><\/p>\n A CISF woman personnel allegedly asked her to take off her clothes, including her undergarments even when the lady repeatedly said that she had a hip implant.<\/span><\/p>\n Dolly, an anthropologist and author, claimed that her niece who was accompanying her mother had filled up a complaint form but the CISF personnel allegedly took it away, saying that it was not allowed . They also did not allow her to take a screenshot of the complaint form, she alleged.<\/span><\/p>\n A spokesperson of the Guwahati airport told reporter that\u00a0 the passenger, with reduced mobility was requested to go through the mandatory security screening but as she had a metal plate placed in her hip bone, the CISF team asked her to go for further checks.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0”The authorities politely explained to the passenger about the mandatory security protocol and the matter was sorted out.
