Two persons died in an incident last night at AMC road, Paltan Bazar, Dibrugarh. As alleged there was an road accident between a motor bike and a Maruti Swift Dzire. The scuffle turned violent as the persons in the car came out and attacked the other persons who stopped the car with sharp weapon. 5 persons (all employees of Assam Medical College and Hospital Were seriously injured. They were rushed to AMCH. One Dipak Mesh declared brought dead at AMCH. Another Ratul Bora died in AMCH late night. 3 seriously injured Pranjit Bhuyan, Rupam Nath & Manoj Dutta are undergoing treatment at AMCH. The angry public damaged the Swift car. Police towed the car to their custody.
\nAfter the death of two persons, the angry public started searching the culprits in many nearby lodges , hotels etc. Police, Security forces managed the situation.
\nDibrugarh DC Pallav Gopal Jha visited AMC after the incident and took stock of the situation.
\nPolice has also arrested the main culprits Gunin Chetia of Laipuli, Tinsukia and another Sonu Ahmed.
\nSecurity forces deployed in the entire area.
