An awareness lec on COVID-19 & distribution of face masks & ration was organised by an Indian Army unit at vill Borjuli on 23 MAY .<\/span> The lecture was conducted to create awareness about the spread of COVID-19 and precautions to be taken to avoid infection. The aspects of Social distancing , Personal hygiene , Wearing of masks , Implementation of lockdown , Gargling using Hot water , Regular Washing of hands and Effective adherence to lock down protocols were given adequate emphasis. Important Do’s and Don’ts were also shared with the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Poor people are likely to be deprived of basic necessities during the times of lockdown. Hence, as part of Indian Army’s longtime endeavour to reach out to the needy , distribution of face masks & ration was also carried out during the same event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event witnessed the presence of 30 villagers including Gaon Budha of the village. The initiative recieved a great participation & appreciation from the audience while following the social distancing norms. <\/span><\/p>\n

The participants thanked the Indian Army whole heartedly for the timely help.<\/span> Indian Army takes pride in taking the national man of combating COVID-19 to the last man in society and will strive for even more with such initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
