Manipur Police arrested a 46-year-old man from Nagaland and seized 37 soap cases containing suspected drugs weighing 446 grams during a frisking and checking operation in Senapati district on August 13. The accused, identified as Imliakum Longkumer of Longa village in Mokokchung district, was apprehended in Khongnem Thana village under Senapati Police Station, authorities said.<\/span><\/p>\n Police said the frisking operation led to the discovery of the 37 soap cases, which held a total of 446 grams of material suspected to be narcotics. Officers also seized a Bolero four-wheeler allegedly used to transport the suspected contraband, and the vehicle has been taken into custody along with the arrested man.<\/span><\/p>\n The arrested individual and the seized items are now in police custody while investigators work to determine the source of the suspected drugs and their intended destination.
