The personnel transported him to a local hospital; however, due to the critical nature of his condition, he was later referred to Silchar Medical College and Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n In response to the incident, residents gathered outside the Katigorah Circle Office on Sunday, expressing their outrage and demanding immediate action against the personnel involved. Tensions remain high in the area, despite the administration\u2019s attempts to manage the situation.<\/span><\/p>\n A senior official confirmed the allegations against the BSF but noted that no formal complaint has yet been filed by the victim\u2019s family, and no First Information Report (FIR) has been recorded.
