According to the FIR lodged at Hatigaon Police Station, certain individuals are involved in a conspiracy to defame, malign, and blackmail Borah by circulating an unauthorized recorded conversation. The audio clip allegedly involves an exchange between two unidentified individuals, mentioning Borah\u2019s name in relation to a financial demand from a coal trader. However, Borah has categorically denied any involvement in such dealings, emphasizing that the audio clip is a deliberate attempt to undermine the Congress party\u2019s anti-coal syndicate operations in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n

Borah believes that the move is a politically motivated conspiracy aimed at tarnishing his public image and weakening his commitment to the ongoing fight against the illegal coal syndicate. The incident comes amidst rising political tensions in Assam ahead of upcoming elections, further fueling the heated debate surrounding the alleged coal syndicate operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Congress leader named Likhan Kumbang as the individual responsible for sharing the clip and requested legal action under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
