The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has officially postponed the remaining Higher Secondary (HS) First Year Examinations of 2025 due to the upcoming Panchayat elections in the state. In a statement issued on Friday, the board cited the widespread engagement of school teachers in election activities, such as training, polling, and counting, as the primary reason for the decision.<\/span><\/p>\n The Panchayat electoral process is scheduled to conclude on May 20, 2025, making it impractical to conduct the remaining exams on time.
