These substantial investments are poised to invigorate Assam\u2019s economic landscape and generate employment.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Assam Cabinet\u2019s Game-Changing Rs 1.22 Lakh Crore Investment Ignites Exciting Infrastructure Revolution<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Addressing urban congestion, the cabinet sanctioned the construction of a flyover at Amolapatty junction on the old NH-37 in Dibrugarh City. Additionally, Rs 55.45 crore has been earmarked for urban infrastructure enhancements in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.<\/span><\/p>\n

In healthcare, the cabinet endorsed the Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) Scheme, 2025, aimed at fostering the career progression of medical college faculty, thus ensuring their retention within the state\u2019s medical infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n

The textile sector also received a boost with the approval of the Textiles and Apparel Policy, Assam, 2025. This policy seeks to create an investor-friendly climate by facilitating access to raw materials and manpower, thereby encouraging new investments within the textile and apparel industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Further, the biotechnology sector witnessed policy revisions under the state\u2019s Biotechnology Policy (2022-2027). These amendments aim to cultivate a favorable environment for biotechnology research, industry, and entrepreneurship, aligning with the BioE3 Policy framework.<\/span><\/p>\n
