O<\/span>n Tuesday at 1 PM, according to sources, the Bokajan police seized<\/a> a significant quantity of suspected heroin based on a tip-off received late on Monday night around 4:11 PM. The operation took place on National Highway 39 in the Sukanjan area under the Bokajan police station, where the police successfully recovered 745.74 grams of heroin packed in 70 plastic packets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heroin has been seized from the truck with the registration number AS-01-RC-0882, which was heading towards Golaghat from Dimapur. The market value of the seized heroin is estimated to be around 7 crore rupees. Reports indicate that the police have detained the truck’s driver, Ramjan Ali, and are continuing their interrogation.<\/span><\/p>\n
