It appears there was a miscalculation that led to her two-wheeler colliding with a truck. Despite being swiftly taken to a nearby hospital following the accident, Thompson succumbed to her injuries during treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">In the wake of this unfortunate event, authorities have reached out to the US consulate concerning the incident. Thompson\u2019s body is currently being held at the Nagaon Medical College and Hospital.
