This initiative aims to promote stability and foster community ties in a region that has historically experienced ethnic strife.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">During his address, Ronghang stressed the importance of coexistence among all communities living in the district. &#8220;We must work towards harmonious living,&#8221; he declared, reflecting on the history of ethnic conflicts in the area. He assured attendees that under the current BJP administration, there have been no reported communal conflicts, a claim that underscores the government\u2019s efforts to maintain peace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Looking ahead, Ronghang announced plans for an extensive land distribution initiative in the coming year, stating that an additional 100,000 people would be granted land pattas. This proactive approach is aimed at ensuring land security and stability for the residents of Karbi Anglong.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The land distribution event was well-attended, featuring key political figures such as Diphu MLA Bidyasing Engleng, Howraghat MLA Darsing Ronghang, Baithalangso MLA Rupsing Teron, and former MP Horen Singh Bey, alongside various executive members and representatives from the Karbi Anglong Autonomous council.
