He underscored that their sacrifices serve as an inspiration and a poignant reminder of the bravery needed to protect the motherland. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Meanwhile, the Frontier Headquarters and 1st Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Sonapur also observed the day, paying tribute to 213 personnel who died while on duty from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024. Among them were SSB personnel CT(WC) Ramesh Kumar and CT(GD) Sahadeb Barman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> The commemoration also marked the sacrifice of 10 CRPF men ambushed by Chinese troops at Hot Springs, Ladakh, on October 21, 1959. The event featured a wreath-laying ceremony and Shok Shastra drill, led by Chief Guest Sudhir Verma, IG, Ftr Guwahati, at the Martyr\u2019s Memorial.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"> Dignitaries present included DIGs B.S. Jaswal and H.B.K.
