PM Modi Extends Support to Families Affected by Dholpur Tragedy, Announces Generous Ex-Gratia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the next of kin of each deceased from the Prime Minister\u2019s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). Additionally, Rs 50,000 will be provided to those injured in the accident. Taking to X, the Prime Minister\u2019s Office conveyed Modi\u2019s sympathies, describing the accident as \u201cheartbreaking,\u201d and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The PMO also assured that the state government and local administration are providing all possible assistance to the victims.<\/span><\/p>\n

The accident occurred late Saturday night when a bus traveling from Gwalior to Jaipur collided with the tempo. The incident underscores the ongoing challenges in road safety and the urgent need for enhanced measures to prevent such tragedies.<\/span><\/p>\n
