In a tweet, Sarma expressed disappointment that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is not holding her officials accountable and instead is targeting the people of Jharkhand by blocking the state\u2019s border. He noted that the Chief Minister of Jharkhand has remained silent on the matter.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The BJP-led central government clarified that Jharkhand is not responsible for the Bengal floods. Sarma underscored that the issue is beyond political boundaries and concerns the honour of Jharkhand\u2019s people. He critiqued the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for their silence, suggesting that their political duty seems to outweigh their responsibility to the state. Sarma urged Jharkhand\u2019s residents to reconsider their support for a party that, in his view, fails to protect the state\u2019s dignity.<\/span><\/p>\n
