Commuters faced significant delays, with one individual heading to Sonapur to visit a patient reporting an hour-long wait near Khanapara. \u201cIt\u2019s not the first time traffic has jammed in Guwahati, but today\u2019s situation near Khanapara is particularly exasperating,\u201d the frustrated commuter told GPlus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another commuter who brought his daughter for the exams lamented the government\u2019s apparent lack of planning. \u201cIf the government cannot manage traffic, they should not conduct exams on such a large scale,\u201d he remarked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many others echoed similar sentiments, criticizing the authorities for inadequate preparation and poor traffic management.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reflecting on the ordeal, the Guwahati traffic DCP commented, \u201cIt cannot be helped as around 1.50 lakh additional vehicles came to Guwahati today for exams.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth noting that any event in Guwahati, especially those organized by the government, often results in severe traffic disruptions, causing great inconvenience to the residents and visitors.<\/span><\/p>\n
