T<\/span>he two fugitives accused in the Dhing rape case<\/a>, Golap Uddin and Faridul Islam, have been handed over to the police by a leader of a minority organization. These two accused were hiding in Morigaon and Dimapur, respectively. The brutal incident took place in Borbheti, Dhing, on August 22, 2024.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The leadership of the minority organization has apprehended two suspects involved in the Dhing incident and handed them over to the police:<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

While one of the accused had died, these two managed to evade the police and go into hiding. The Assam Minority Struggle Council apprehended the two surviving criminals and handed them over to the office of the Nagaon Superintendent of Police. Golap Uddin was captured from Morigaon and Faridul Islam from Dimapur. The police are currently interrogating both at the Nagaon Superintendent\u2019s office. It is noteworthy that the police had launched an awareness campaign to capture these criminals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pressure from both the awareness campaign and the police led the minority organization to capture and hand over the two criminals, demonstrating the important role society can play in apprehending criminals involved in such heinous acts. It is also significant that rape incidents are occurring frequently in various parts of the state. Additionally, the rising crime tendencies among the younger generation have led to an increase in the number of such organized crimes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Criminals have no religion. If we consider criminals purely as criminals and create a social environment against crime, no criminal can escape. The positive role played by the minority organization in apprehending the two accused in the Dhing incident has paved the way for establishing a healthy and positive tradition in this regard.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
