This reopening follows significant landslides on the night of September 3, which severed communication and resulted in six fatalities in Chumoukedima\u2019s Pherima area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Efforts to restore the highway have been intensive, with the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL) and the state government working collaboratively.
