The victim, who has not been named for privacy reasons, was left visibly shaken by the ordeal but managed to lodge a complaint at the Gitanagar police station shortly after the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place early in the morning as the victim was heading for her routine walk. She was reportedly approached by two men on a motorcycle who appeared to be following her. Before she could react, one of the assailants brandished a weapon and threatened her, demanding valuables. In the ensuing chaos, the victim was pushed to the ground and her belongings, including a mobile phone and some jewelry, were forcibly taken from her.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gitanagar police have confirmed that they are treating this case with the utmost seriousness. \u201cWe have registered a case and are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the suspects,\u201d said a senior police official. \u201cWe urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
