The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF)<\/a> is facing challenges during the rescue efforts because of the mud at the lake’s bottom, potentially ensnaring some of the unaccounted-for people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his condolences regarding the tragedy and announced a financial assistance of 200,000 rupees for the relatives of each person who has died.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his condolences for the tragedy and announced a financial relief of Rs 2 lakh for the family members of each individual who passed away. “I am deeply saddened by the deaths resulting from the boat overturning at Harni Lake in Vadodara. My sympathies are with the families mourning their loss during this difficult time. I hope for a quick recovery for those injured. The regional authorities are offering every necessary support to the victims,” the Prime Minister’s Office stated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed his profound sorrow over the tragic boat capsize in Vadodara’s Harani lake that led to the drowning of children. He described the event as heart-wrenching and offered prayers for the departed young souls, extending his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. Patel hoped for divine strength for the families to cope with their loss. He also mentioned that a rescue effort for those on the boat, including students and teachers, is underway and that he has directed relevant officials to ensure swift aid and medical care for the accident’s victims.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kuber Dindor, the education minister of Gujarat, indicated that he has been informed about a tragic incident where a boat with schoolchildren capsized in a lake, resulting in the death of six kids. He noted that rescue efforts are currently in progress. According to him, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), fire department staff, and various other organizations are actively working on the situation.<\/span><\/p>\n
