The protest was arranged by Mamata Gogoi and opened by the speech of Jitu Sarmah Rajkhowa, the President of Assam State Journalists Association. Rajkhowa analyzed the enormities of the Act. Speakers as youth leader Jitu Saikia, ex youth leader Bubul Dutta, Vice President of Golaghat Zila Sahitya Sabha Kalpana Chetia, President of KMSS, Bokakhat Haren Saikia successively threw their voice against CAA to the gathering. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Appeals as to write down the slogan &#8220;we oppose CAA&#8221; on an Assamese &#8220;Gamocha&#8221; and to display it in front of every Assamese house, unconditional rid of peasant leader Akhil Gogoi and ULFA leader Jiten Dutta from police custody were made on the protesting occasion. Poem recitation done by Ipshita Dutta and patriotic song presented by child artists fascinated the crowd.
